First and foremost, we want to thank you for your support while Minsky’s dining rooms were closed during the last several weeks. By continuing to order delivery and curbside pick-up you allowed Minsky’s Pizza stores across the Kansas City metro area and Lawrence to remain open and helped provide ongoing employment for hundreds of Minsky’s team members and their families.We will always be grateful for that support.
Top Priority: Your Safety
We have officially reopened dining rooms at all 18 area Minsky’s Pizza locations and our top priority is the health and safety of both you, our great customers, and that of our many staff members. We have modified our dining experience to meet or exceed public health requirements with cleaning, sanitization and recommended social distancing.
Dine-In Safety Procedures
We are abiding by all capacity and spacing requirements laid out by the varied Health Departments of our many locations. In preparation for your return, we have implemented new sanitation guidelines and thoroughly cleansed and sanitized our restaurants. We have created new policies and guidelines and reoriented our staff with new safety procedures.
Safety precautions include (but are not limited to), single-use menus, QR code menus for touchless ordering, facial coverings – both masks and face shields depending on the staff position, frequent and thorough hand washing, and health and temperature screening for all workers as they report for their shifts.
Installation of Synexis Microbial Reduction Systems
In the next few weeks, all Minsky’s metro area locations will install state-of-the-art air cleansing systems. The choice to install these systems was a significant investment – nearly $300,000 – however, once the installation is complete, Minsky’s will be continuously protected by Dry Hydrogen Peroxide (DHP) technology from Synexis. We know that there has been no such thing as “business as usual” for any industry lately. We know many of you and your families have faced immense struggles during this horrible pandemic – and we can only imagine the many sacrifices and even losses many of you have endured. Through it all, our community has remained resilient and strong.
