Between Thanksgiving and Christmas this past year, Minsky’s and over 75 local artisans (curated by Strawberry Swing), sold beautiful gifts, street food, and drinks over the course of four weekends at the City Market’s “Merry Market.” Minsky’s paired up with Boulevard Beer to serve up Gourmet pizza by-the-slice along with some of Boulevard’s finest adult beverages during the course of this month-long outdoor European-style market. Four different non-profits manned the Minsky’s food and drink booth over the four weekends and each received a donation for their help! These organizations included:
- FOX4 Love Fund for Children “bridges the gap in youth services by partnering with advocates to fulfill unique, unmet needs of children across KC.”
- Don Bosco Center“positions ethnically diverse population of all ages across metropolitan Kansas City to be self-sufficient and contributing members of this great community.”
- Operation Breakthrough “provides a safe, loving and educational environment for children in poverty and empowers their families through advocacy, emergency aid and education.”
- American Heritage is “dedicated to the mission of building young women of integrity through service to God, family, community, and country.”
Minsky’s was able to donate several thousand dollars to the non-profits thanks to the thousands of patrons who came to the 2022 Merry Market and made a purchase at the Minsky’s Pizza and Boulevard Beer stand Thank you to all who attended Merry Market this year, Minsky’s looks forward to taking part again in 2023!
