As many of you now know, Minsky’s has been serving Kansas City’s best pizza for 40 years now, and all this month we’ve been in the mood to celebrate! Through our “4 for 40” program we’re giving 15% of sales back to 4 local charities for the entire month of May!
Big Brothers Big Sisters Chief Executive Officer, Micheal Lawrence
In this, our third in a series of profiles on the four great not-for-profit organizations that are part of our “4 for 40”, we’re thrilled to share a little more information about another incredible group we’re proud to give something back to, the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Kansas City! This not-for-profit serves over 1,700 youth in Kansas City each year. BBBS works to provide children who may be facing difficult times by matching school-aged youths (Littles) with caring, adult volunteers (Bigs). Each time Big Brothers Big Sisters pairs a child with a role model, they start something incredible: a one-to-one relationship built on trust and friendship that can blossom into a future of unlimited potential.
“I was personally inspired 24 years ago when I met a very young person who was in a tough situation, the only person he ever truly cared about was his big brother,” said Big Brothers Big Sisters Chief Executive Officer, Micheal Lawrence. “We make life-changing friendships – friendships that wouldn’t naturally exist without Big Brothers Big Sisters.”
Big Brothers Big Sisters targets the children who need them the most, including those living in single parent homes, growing up in poverty or coping with parental incarceration. They strive to create life-long results and are willing to do most anything it takes to help change children’s lives for the better.
From Friday, April 29th through Tuesday, May 31st, Minsky’s Pizza will donate 15% of customers’ in-store and online orders to Big Brothers Big Sisters when the customer selects Big Brothers Big Sisters as a beneficiary. And, if Big Brothers Big Sisters raises more that the other three “4 for 40” charities during the promotional period, Minsky’s will double their final donation!
Here’s how to participate:
- For in-store dining, take out or delivery, customer presents a printed out “4 for 40” coupon in-store (click here to print). Alternatively, the coupon may be presented on your mobile device.
- When ordering online at com. Enter code BBBS15 at checkout!
As a special thank you to the customers who help support this worthy cause (and in addition to the 15% donation to Big Brothers Big Sisters), Minsky’s will also take 5% off all online and in-store orders for customers who use one of the “4 for 40” coupons or online ordering codes!
