Honor Flight Network of Kansas City
The Honor Flight Network is a national non-profit organization that was founded in 2005. Five local senior-serving organizations formed the regional hub of the Honor Flight Network of Kansas City to celebrate veterans in the metro area. The organization honors veterans by flying them out to Washington, D.C. to visit and reflect at various memorials. The trip is completely free of charge for the veterans.
